On August 14, 2024, ReciVeci was present at the publication of the 2023 Sustainability Report of Zurich Seguros in the city of Quito, and where the work carried out in conjunction with ReciVeci was mentioned.
The event was led by Cynthia Dueñas, Customer Office Manager, Zurich Seguros, who on behalf of the company shared with her collaborators, partners, media and attendees, the achievements of the last annual period in terms of sustainability in different aspects: Customer Sustainability, Sustainability of the Planet, Sustainability of People and Sustainability of the Business.
The work carried out by Zurich Seguros and ReciVeci is mentioned on pages 55 and 57 of the document, in the section “Sustainability on the planet and community: Our environmental impact”. It details that since 2023, Zurich has maintained a continuous service for the collection of recyclable waste with basic recyclers and recyclers.
In addition, there is talk of “Zurich Recyclathon” carried out for the second consecutive year, with the support of ReciVeci. This “it is an initiative to collect recyclable waste in offices throughout the month of September” in which the company's employees actively participated. This year 496 kg were recovered of recyclable waste that was delivered directly to basic recyclers to be marketed and returned to production chains.
