ReciVeci participated in the 1st Workshop of the NPAP (National Plastic Action Partnership) Leaders Group in Ecuador

10/2024

Regarding the fact that Ecuador is part of the Global Platform for Action for Plastics (GPAP), the first Workshop of the National Action Leaders Group on Plastics (NPAP) was held on July 11 in Quito.

This first meeting was a very important space for the future of the country in terms of reducing the use of plastics, and in which the invited participants were able to share experiences and contributions in the construction of concrete actions, with technical expertise, in the reduction of plastic pollution in Ecuador.

At ReciVeci we are happy and honored to have been invited to this first workshop. Thanks to WWF Ecuador for leading this much needed space and for encouraging the active and dynamic participation of the group of leaders!

On the GPAP (Global Plastic Action Partnership) platform, this is an important action in the battle to reduce the amount of plastics generated in the world. The initiative is funded by the World Economic Fund and was launched in Ecuador more than a year ago. It currently has more than 15 subscribed countries, and more than 400 allied organizations around the world.
